I'm sorry but,
I may have grown up as a young kid in SoCal listening to rap, but with the exception of a small handful of groups & rappers I’ve always thought that the East Coast (specifically NYC of course) produced the best emcees. I mean shit! Look at Nas, Jay-Z, Saul Williams, Dead Prez, Mos Def, Talib Kweli… these are the emcees and lyrical masterminds that get me excited! These are the guys...
